Data View: Chemical VOC Removal Tables

This page displays the original VOC removal data imported into the project, split across three separate chemical tables:

• Benzene

• Trichloroethylene (TCE)

• Formaldehyde

Each table contains the following:

• Common and Scientific Names of the Houseplants

• Leaf Surface Area (cm²)

• Amount of chemical removed (μg)

These raw values were combined and cleaned to create a unified dataset used in all subsequent analyses and visualizations. This step laid the groundwork for calculating total VOCs removed and determining VOC removal efficiency per unit leaf area.

This foundational step ensures accuracy, consistency, and transparency in the analysis of plant performance.
